well i picked up the 76 on saturday. sold an old bike i had and did some freelance website work, so all in all this car will end up costing me about $200 which makes me happy.

i am going to start the dismantling process. i know i will be using the complete driveline, k-frame, maybe the wheels for now, all the brake /suspension stuff and the front seat.

i know it isnt a desireable car but if there is anything someone could use, please just let me know. if no one wants anything i will still prob keep the hood, trunk, the doors and all the glass as they are all in good shape. body is pretty beat. the grill is actually in really nice shape.

ps - does anyone ever save the hardtops? or just go by way of the crusher which is what this will do in a couple weeks as i only have so much time to get the car dismantled.

How is the radiator? Does it have a shroud? I would be interested in both. Please contact Brian.
Thanks! :)

hey guys - sorry i wasn't better in outlining my post earlier. i am doing the /6 to V8 swap in my 67 so i will be using the k-frame and all its components as well as the radiator. fortunately it looks to be a brand new one as well as the battery and a lot of the small items.

is there any need for doors, glass, hood, trunk, fenders, etc? dash is pretty good, has an aftermarket small steering wheel, and a bunch of other stuff. most likely the car will go to the scrapper but thought i'd see if anyone needs anything here.

sorry again for the confusion.

the /6 will be going in a53 pilothouse build over the winter.

sorry to bump the thread - the interior i have is the 1 pice bucket type seat front and a bench for the back. anything in particular? if anyone needs the whole car please let me know else i will start the dismantling this week. i'll keep most everything that seems useable in case anyone needs anything, but the actual frame and such will prob go to the scrapper. does anyone save entire roofs?
