Went yesterday to buy a 64 270 parts car shell (/6 car with no motor, but did have the push button torqueflite and controls as core/spares). Negotiated a great price by pics alone of parts I could see that I needed (decent trunk lid, good trim, tail lights, ok fenders, etc.) and general condition. Got some nice additional surprises when I got there. Car has power steering and the dealer installed Mopar Cool-Aire system. Car was originally an LA/west coast car. PO did not know when it came east. He bought it in 95 as a project, had it in storage for many years, and then sitting behind his garage the last few years. Front left frame rail is bad, but most of the other sheet metal including floors appear to be in tact and solid. Need to dig deeper into it, but very happy with what I've seen so far. Neither of my cars has power steering so I'm psyched about that.
