[WANTED] Parts for TQ 4972/3

Looking for metering rods and jets for a '71 TQ PN 4973S. Specifically, I want to get my hands on a set of PN 16-682 or 16-683 metering rods. Jets would be nice, but I can always drill the stock jets out to size if necessary.

I'd like to find .111" or .125" needle & seat assemblies for TQ as well. As I understand it (and admittedly, I don't know much...) the needle & seats are the same across all TQ part #'s.

Got a good lead on a carb out of this board already. Figured I'd give this a shot too!

Hi Jared and welcome to FABO. Those 71 carbs are a 1 year only carb so parts might be a bit hard to find. I've never worked with one of those but from what I understand, they aren't jet-able so the drilling is a one shot deal. Not sure if that applies to the primary or secondary or both. I'm sure someone on here has more experience with them. Good luck and I hope you find what you need.

Thanks Ken! Now I just gotta work on getting an A-Body, right? This F-Body stuff is a little goofy, but I'm having fun anyway!

Found a #4973 carb and an NOS Strip Kit for it. I think I'm in business! Thanks fellas!
