Passon OD gearsets

This feels like a dumb question to ask but here goes. I was reading the article by Steve Dulcich about switching out the stock gearset for the passion od in the A-833 and the article left one bit of info out for me. Does the passon gearset go into an OD case or a non overdrive? Or can it go into both?

Well I know non od guts can interchange into an od case and Visa versa so I would think passon gearsets will work in either. I may be wrong though.

It certainly fits in a standard A833 case. I assume it will also fit in an OD case.
