I know there are lots of threads on this issue but I saw a post about a part that was used but is no longer made. PN 14014519 was used instead of the vacuum switch that currently comes in the kit, this link shows that it is available through this company. GM 14014519 Switch, genuine OEM part

The thread stated that it could resolve some of the performance issues with OD and lock up.

Just wondering if anyone has bought from this company and used this part with success?

Just a tip I learned the hard way. Put a relay in the system. If you don't, likely no vacuum switch will last.

Cley,
My OD engages around 60 mph but I cannot kickdown to 3rd once it's engaged, do you have this same issue?

Vacuum switch for OD/LU kickdown
Part # TCI-CMP3766B

This TCI part is what I use on my home brewed version of the PAtC kit.

No. My vacuum switch is wired to disable the OD and LU when you push the throttle open and vacuum drops off. This puts you back in 3rd gear.

Ok, this is my issue, it's not disengaging. I'm following the wiring diagram so I'm looking for the source of the problem. The transmission shifts up and down normally, just no kickdown.

Is there anything supporting that pipe/sending units? i would make a bracket to a pan bolt or something.. miles of bouncing will make a bad day happen...

You mean like blowing the fluid out of the trans and burning it up from the slipping? :D
Mine are speed adjustable and under the hood on the back of the intake.
The tube runs up the top of the trans, so nothing is exposed under the car.

Kinda what i pictured with them hanging in space :) My mind always goes to the worst case scenario

I'm planning on adding a shield to protect it.
