I hate that they did that to your car,people who do those sort of things are low life's and most likely don't have any insurance.

I understand what you're saying. I had a 1989 dodge truck and when it was 6 months old some clown hit it and did several thousand dollars in damage. My insurance company paid to get it fixed
I have one "nice" muscle car with beautiful paint (my '70 340 Dart). I hardly ever drive it.
My ratty Barracuda gets a lot more miles because it is like 5 different colors and i have never washed it in the 23 years I have owned it. It's nasty looking, ratty, runs mid-10's in the quarter, and is the most fun car I have ever owned.
Embrace the ratty, beat-up look at be happy, dude.
(and YES, people suck for a variety of reasons)

I sometimes forget I can't have anything nice.
Any chance there were some cameras where it was parked? For example, if you were parked outside a Target store, their security cameras may have picked up something….
One of our service techs at work got busted in this very way, and Management promptly fired his stupid ***.
I understand how you feel. I wouldn't give up because of some clown. I would get the car fixed and enjoy it. It's sad but people just don't respect other things that people have, was it really a accident, a act of jealousy, someone not paying attention to what they were doing? It's really hard to say, but what really makes it wrong is the fact that they didn't leave any contact information, was you in a area that has camera's? If so that could be a big help in finding out what happened. Unfortunately we live in a world where people just don't care,they are cold hearted and hateful.
Keep thinking that way you never will.
Yes some people suck, but rise above it and don't let sucky people determine the outcome of any situation involving you or yours.

That's messed up. I'm not a fan of people either. Sulking won't make the situation better though. File a claim and get it fixed up.
I agree, a negative attitude will only get you no where. It's a shame that your car was hit and they didn't leave you any information. I don't know where you were when your car was hit but you might what to change areas where you park. One advantage I have is I have handicap plates on the wife's car and a placard for my truck, handicap parking spots are bigger than a normal parking spot, I know that's no excuse for what someone did to your car. I mentioned earlier to see if the place you parked has cameras and you can get a camera for your car and set it up to record even when your not in the car. I realize that you have a right to drive your car where you want to but store parking lots are a bad place for parking as that's where the biggest amount of idiots are. You might want to get your self a beater car for grocery shopping and going to your favorite hardware store.

The straw just broke the camels back. I give up. I can't have nice things.
Naah, the problem is I don't think that way. I'm much too optimistic.
Nothing that won't get me arrested will make the situation better.
