Anyone running the Aeromotive A1000 on the street? I am guessing my 470 is going to make around 650hp and I want something that can support that + a 150 shot. I also looked at the Magnafuel 500 but I don't see how I can mount it without it sticking through the floor. I would prefer to keep the fuel system out of the trunk because of possible fumes when the car is not being driven. I am running an aluminum cell with 2 AN10 outlets and 2 AN8 returns/vents.

I'm running that setup (A1000) with a 100 micron and a 10 micron inline filter. I have a shut off just before the first filter so I can clean them both, without dumping the tank. Using their pressure regulator as well. Have been running it on the street for 9 years and never had a problem. Have a 500ci with solid roller cam that is tuned to about 620 hp right now. Have it mounted in the space between the trunk extensions and the fuel tank, on a 1/2" rubber/cork pad.

Super clean setup! That's why I like those pumps. They mount easy and lay flat against the panel.

The A 1000 is a good pump. My buddies run them. I run the A2000 but only because I got a super deal on it. It is quieter than the 1000. Kim

Hope you never have a blowout.
