Pertronix igniter with MSD 6al ignition box?

I posted this in the slant six section but didn't get any responses this is for a turbo slant motor I do have a factory Electronic ignition dizzy I could install but the motor runs good with the pertronix dizzy so I didn't plan on changing it out unless I have to


Is anybody running a pertronix igniter dizzy with a MSD 6al ignition box? I'm close to getting my turbo motor running again and I was planning on run a MSD 6al box with my MSD btm "boost timing module" and was wondering if the pertronix ignition is compatible with the MSD stuff?

Sure is.

Just connect according to the MSD diagram.

The Pertronix acts like a set of points, so the MSD uses that as a trigger.

Thanks I just pulled up 6al install guide and it looks pretty easy I guess I didn't think MSD would support aftermarket stuff but I guess I wasn't thinking
