I can't get a decent pic of my car. These were shot in the shade and it still washes out. Any suggestions???? Maybe a very cloudy day? Change background?

change back ground and that will help a lot. The green on green kills it, with such a bright color you should try a darker background. Look how nice it looks along the bottom.

Definitely change the background. Unless you're in front of a blank wall for contrast, the objects in the background should be pretty far away so as to not distract from the subject, which is the car. Try a field at the edge of a road where the trees are way off in the distance of maybe behind a warehouse in front of a cinder block wall.

What kind of camera are you using?

There are several different settings that could be changed to make these shots better, even with "bad" backgrounds. A better or larger flash could compensate for the excess lighting. Maybe changing the f-stop, or other options.

Just pointing and clicking will not necessarily produce a good pic, no matter what the subject matter.

Yes, watch the lighting and suroundings.
My car is the same when tacking pics of it.
Yes that is my best side in the one pic.
