What electric latch did you use? Mine is from a m-body 5th avenue. Didn't have to do any trimming, just the plastic cover on the latch assembly holds the plastic tailpanel cover out a lil bit

Not really sure what its off of, I know it came off of one of the later cars, probably a 5th Ave or New Yorker. But I do know that it interfered enough for me to do a little trimming. Plus the panel fits better that way, at least on my car, so it wasn't a big deal.
