Ok, got some pics of the 1/4 panel on my 66 Dart. Plus some pics of the patch panel I got off another 66 Dart I parted out. Plans are now this Sat. to cut on my art and see if I can make a good fit

Go slow, measure 15 times, and cut once too big, then sneak up on the final fit.

Yes, that is my plan. I am thinking about 3/8 of a n inch over what I t needs to be and then do the fit, plus anm going to flange it so it fits flush.

Seal that flange real good as it will trap moisture, and cause the same problem again. In that type of area I would but weld it to not cause a water trap.

you should look into lead filling maybe, solve your moisture problem you might have in the future

Thanks for the advise. I am not to comfortable with butt welding on somnething like that, That is why i decided to go with the flange, I will seal it up, but what would be the best to use on something like that
