I just bought a 8-3/4 to go under my dart. Im already going to have to cut it down some. what i would like is pics of narrowed 8-3/4s to help me decide how much i want to cut it. And if you have any with ladder bar or 4link setup. Thanks

The proper way to determine the width to which you get the rear end cut, is to get the wheels and tires you plan to use, center them in the wheelwell, and measure between the mounting surface at the rear of the wheels.

If you are using leafs in stock location, it's tough to shorten it more than about 1" on each side because the u bolts will be on top of your axle ends.

Ladder bar or 4 link, do as OldVart says. Nothing worse than shortening a rear to what you think will work and wheels aren't available in the backspacing you need. BTDT, got the shirt and a big bottle of tylenol!
