Wanted - a picture of a stock 66 Barracuda bucket seat. PM me for my email or post it here.

Thanks Geoff - looks like your seat bottom doesn't have much if any bolsters where the seat back has pretty pronounced bolsters on the sides and top. My Legendary upholstery for both the bottom and seat back has the listings for both cushion and back. Interesting!

Plus I can't see any hog rings on the underside of the seat base where they hogringed the listing to the springs unless I'm just not seeing it (need new glasses maybe!

The covers do get hogringed to the springs although indirectly.
The soft trim of a seat is a build up of layers of different materials
fastened to the steel frame & springs.
The factory used a layer of burlap reinforced with wire as a first layer.
This is to spread out the load across the springs.
Also to prevent springs from separating and allowing foam and cotton to be pushed thru
becoming unsupportive.
Next a paper wrapped wire is attached. This is what your listings will anchor to.

And one showing the original upper bun.

I bought seat foam (bun) from Tamraz's off ebay.

IIRC I used about 25 hog rings on each front seat.

Maybe these pictures will help you out, this is when Paul and I did my barracuda seats a while back.
