Obviously, what looks good is in the eyes of the beholder. Only one of the above appeals to me, #13, but looks to have the car to back it up. So, you are the beholder, do what you like.
There is a lot more to it than looks though. It is functionality.
I was running a dual plane Edelbrock with a single Holley a few years back. On a hot day, you could hear the fuel boiling in the carb when the engine was shut down. I went to an air gap and that helped, but it would still get very hot under the hood.
Out west, 90-100+degree days are not uncommon.
The cold air in and hot out makes a world of difference. So, yes looks are part of it. I’ve always been more of a functional makes more sense type of person.
