why wouldn't you use the roller bearing?

I picked this part up at a local swap meet after talking to the car guys there. I didnt know of any other kind. Is there a differnece is what type used.

This is all new to me. Just looking for some answers.

Thanks

National bearing: FC-69907 is a roller type. It can be had at almost any parts store. Got mine from Oreilly's for about $10.

The guys at brewers recommended I use a bushing like this over the roller bearing...
