Plasticflex fan?

Any experiences with one? I came across them while searching for a new fan.
That little voice says do not use one but my wallet says this one won't chew up your new radiator like the stainless fan did.

I've used the plastic flex and it worked o.k. If your chewing up your radiator there may be other issues. The plastic one will flex more than the stainless and it will chew up a radiator just as easy.
