Plug Wires and Headers?

I need plug wires for my 72 340. I'm using the stock distributor and Doug's headers. What set will be the right lengths? Will straight sockets at the plugs work? Any advice from someone that has already been down this road would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Cut the wires to fit. Simply pull the boot off and remove the brass colored connector and re-crimp.

Get a customizable set and cut them so they fit nice, and you may very well be needing to use a combination of straight and 90 boots.

On my own car the 5 and 7 cylinders have the header tube right along the tops of the plugs and I use a small section of folded header wrap between the tube and straight boots to keep them from getting burned. (just a thought in case you need to do the same)

Kind of a PIA but custom cut is almost always a better outcome.
