plug wires

i was at local parts store and found some blue super stock accel wires on clearance will these work on my older 318 model# was 5040b they was marked down to 13 bucks so i grabbed them and was hoping they would work on box it said hei or non hei

Looked that # up on summit application says universal V8 So you should be good to go.You'll probably have to cut them to length and assemble the distributor ends yourself though.

Since you are spending the time to cut and fit them, make them perfect, and use clear rubber hose and blue zip ties to hold them in perfect place. Looks Killer and keeps the wires from touching/rubbing.

ok whats the trick to getting the wire thru the boots it is a lil frusrating lol

a little vegetable oil works well. don't use motor oil.

Slick stuff, plenty of cussing, and sore hands. Hair dryer on the boots. Call the factory and ask them WTF. Done all of that.

used some silicone spray and i will say it worked awesomely i mean tottaly awsome i was fighting this for a couple hours and then i used this and bam all plugs done in 15 minutes weeeeeeee
