Plymouth Duster and Scamp Grills

While I was at the Mopars in the Park show a couple weekends ago, I noticed that some of the Plymouths (Dusters and Scamps) had there grill below the cross member/core support and others had it above. By below it I mean the upper lip of the grill was below the support. I have mine above, Im curious as to where it is suppose to be?

Well when I got my car it was installed under the core support and thats how I did it once I restored my grill

I tried installing above the core support and it "felt" wrong
The only thing that goes above my grill is a section of my headlight bezel

Thanks for the opinions guys. I moved mine under to try it and it seemed to put a larger gap between the grill and the hood. It did seem like that tab on the headlight bezel should go above. Just didnt seem to fit right with it below. I think its a much cleaner look to myself.
