plz help identify this

i have searched through a ton of threads and cant find exactly what im looking fo so here it goes...i have a set of heads on my 340 with the casting number 3671587 7 and on the other side of the head it has 360 on it.....are these 340 heads or 360 heads....plus i can't seam to find a letter cast anywhere so are these j x or what

73/74 340 & 360 heads...pre smog but there getting ready.

sometimes they have a j on the bottom @ push rod holes.

Cause they never put "340" on them unless it was a "TA" engine :newb:

Only X heads had 340 on them, all other big port heads have 360 on them.

............ur heads have 1.88 intake valves factory, X heads have 2.02s.......not much difference....kim......
