Just curious what is causing this I thought that a wire for the lighter was getting pinched underneath the shifter and not letting it fully engage into 4th, but I checked under the console and nothing is getting caught under the shifter other than the carpet may be pushing against the shifter just enough to push it out of gear I don't have a cover holding the carpet off of the shifter??? Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem or do I need to check to make sure it is fully engaging in the linkage? It seams to fall out of gear as soon as you let off of it to coast it just slides right out of gear.

Check your shifter linkage first. Then pull side cover and check shift forks and syncro's.
