After reading Adam's thread about detailing I bought one of these. Spent today applying polish to our Explorer. I know it has not had any thing beyond a coat of wax in the 6 or so years we have owned it. The paint is in really bad shape, tons of scratches/stains & water spots, as well as some dents. Did not have an aggressive enough wax/pad but did the entire vehicle anyway so I could put a coat of wax on it tomorrow. Was very impressed with how easy it was to polish the truck with it.
