possible to convert wheel pattern to 5x5.5?

The rear wouldn't be too hard, since 4x4 Dodge trucks used that pattern with an 8.75" axle in the early 70s. You could shorten the shafts to fit an A Body axle. I might actually have a pair of those shafts stuffed in my shed somewhere. I'm not sure about backing plates and drums, but the trucks ones would probably work.
The front might be a bit more work.
What wheels are you talking about that are only available in that pattern? If you're thinking about wheels from a 2002+ Ram, be careful because those wheels are designed to work with a 9/16" stud, not the 1/2" studs that the earlier stuff used.
