ok, 70 duster. all new weatherstrip during restoration.
ive got some problems at all 4 panels of side glass.

on the wing windows: the front seals to the weatherstripping (up near the doors) but the back has a 1/16 or so gap (back by the latch). similar on both sides. is there an adjustment or solution for this? i cant shim the latch to glass screw, as it would make the gap worse, not better.

on the door glas:
at the back of the glass, there is a 1/4 to 3/8 gap along the whole wing window section. howls like a banshee going down the highway. also gaps intermittently along the uppermost portion of the roofrail. also has a gap down by the door to a-pillar, but it seals up again a little ways up the a-pillar. the glass cant be THAT wavy.
i was wondering on this if anyone has some CLEAR pictures on howthis piece of weatherstripping should look when installed. drawings are OK too. also, where should the weatherstripping be glued in at around the window? currently i just have it pressed into the chanel and held in place by friction and magic.
heres the best pictures i could get of what im talking about ( i apologize, but ive apparently been incapable of taking a good picture for the last two weeks. )

i could really use some pointers on fine tuning the weatherstripping before i try adjusting my windows for the 3,467th time to stop the leaking and wind noise.
then ill feel better about getting slight tint applied (i live in the south. an all black interior gets HOT in the summer in front of work)
