I had my Cuda in for body and other work a few years ago and they removed the power brake booster for some reason, leaking maybe. I want to put a new one on now for one of the final needs along with a new steering gear to get the slop out of the power steering. I replaced the leaking master cylinder just to have some brakes but want to go back to power assisted. I see lots of options at Classic Industries and Summit (my usual source). Can I use the current master cylinder or should I buy the set with master already attached? What size do I need? Dual or single diaphragm? I can only seem to find universal, do I trust these? I still have the bracket from the old one. Unfortunatley due to back issues I can no longer crawl under the dash but I have a reliable master mechanic that will help but would like to find the parts before calling him over. It has drums all around, 273 4bbl Commando engine.

I wouldn't trust one of those "universal kits" as far as I could throw it. Too many issues, no parts availability.
If you've still got the original booster, pack it up and send it to
Vacuum Brake Boosters | Power Brake Booster Exchange, Lynwood
or
Home - Harmon Classic Brakes
for a full, better-than-new rebuild.
And yes, it will work with your existing master (15/16 bore per factory, other bores will still work).
If you don't have the booster, try this one from Dr. Diff:
Bendix Style Dual Diaphragm Booster for Mopars
available with or without the standoff brackets and linkage, depending if you still have your originals or not.
