power numbers

Can anyone give me an estimate on how much power in can expect from a stock build 440 engine? I know that its a 72, and that about it. I can get the numbers off the heads and block if thatll help.

1972 440 hp motors were rated at 280 net hp so I would think some where in that range depending on cam, heads, pistons, exhaust, ignition, carb etc. Lots of variables.

Factory stock built or after you rebuild it ?
