Power steering mounting

I rebuilding my car and the power steering resovoir seems to be in the wrong spot, this is the way it was when I bought it. The belt runs from the crank to the fan then the P/S. I would think it ran off of the crank alone. Does anyone have pics of how it should be. Also the brackets that I might need. The engine is a 360. It seems like it should be down lower. Thanks

It looks to me like you are missing a bracket. Check the link below for pictures of how mine is mounted. You can also do a search for "power steering" and you will find several threads that have the information/pictures of mounts you are looking for.
