i am getting a powersteering leak, and i can see it dripping from where pitman arm bolts to something to do with powersteering, on drivers side, i know there is a seal under there, does anybody know what its called and if it is hard to replace? thanks

sector shaft seal

remove pitman arm, remove seal snap ring, start car and seal should pop out ,if not turn the wheel to create enough pressure, check shaft for wear/grooving where the seal runs...
If its grooved up, repair/replace sector shaft and seal...if its not that bad, clean it up with some emory cloth, install seal and reassemble

tools required: socket big enough to fit nut, impact gun or equivalent, heavy snap ring pliers, pitman arm puller

DO NOT hammer on the shaft
