Powerglide Trans X-Member ???

With those running a powerglide or GM trans behind your SB/BB mopar in a Mopar car, what are you doing to your transmission crossmember to bolt in your PG? Are you replacing it with an aftermarket unit. If so, can someone point me in the right direction.

I just sat mine in and held a piece of angle iron up to the factory crossmember and marked it, took M&T out and welded the angle iron right onto the factory one.
 
im going to be doing this next year,since the 727 that's in the car will be the last one,will like too any info on powerglides
