Has anyone done business with this company recently? Precision Oil Pumps I purchased an oil pump from them back in June. I didn't receive an order confirmation but do see the charge on my credit card. When attempting to call the telephone number in the contact page, it rings through to voicemail with an announcement they will be closed mon and tues April 7-8th and will reopen April 9th . I have tried calling a few times but no one ever answers and no one has returned my email or my voicemail that I have left.

Before I file a fraud claim with my credit card, I thought I would ask if anyone here has had luck recently or knows anything about them or might have a better way to contact them.

I was going to suggest having one of our Fresno members swing by to do some recon and see if it's a stand-up business, but after looking at the address listed on their website, it appears as though the address listed is a home address in a residential neighborhood.

I understand **** happens which may cause delays, but I'd give them a week to respond to your inquiries (both by voice mail and email), then file a claim with your credit card if you don't hear back from them.

It doesn't matter if anyone here has done business with them or not. You ordered a part, they got their money, you didn't get the part ,and no one is answering their business phone.

File the claim.

Frig waitin file the claim.

The only reason I thought I’d wait and ask here is, it seems like they might have to order the part then process it aka blueprint it before sending it out. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Especially if he’s a small shop working out of his home

Wait then. Yeah. Do that.

That includes gasket matching and smoothing out the castings, disassembly and verification of the mechanicals and tolerances and reassembly.

it's but barely july... but when in june?

i'm not trying to give no static, but if it's only been two weeks that seems reasonable to me.

babies and bathwater and all that...
June 10. It’s not the waiting that has me worried. It’s the non-communication. No order confirmation, won’t answer the phone, won’t return a voicemail or an email.

It’s pretty simple to blueprint yourself if you have a few tools . Like a dremel or die grinder . Just order a new melling and pull it apart. Or go thru your stock pump .

Yeah, I don’t have that stuff but I think I’ll buy it and learn.

i understand completely. i wouldn't sweat the wait either but the radio silence would have me nervous too.

With no response whatsoever. They caint take 20 seconds to send an email? Boosheet. Not with my money.

Very odd. I’ve bought multiple oil pumps from him over the years. He does a fantastic job, all rough edges taken care of, they have a tumbled finish and the cover plate bolts are safety wired.
All that is besides the point, too bad he ain’t answering calls. He’s a good dude, I hope his health is fine.

I agree. I hope he's ok too. But he's runnin a business. He should be prepared for that. He should have some sort of support system in place even if to only send an email saying "Havin health issues, will get with you ASAP". It happens to everyone. It's how you handle it.

Why? You'll get 70+ psi of cold oil pressure with standard oil clearance and a basic Melling pump.

Assuming you purchased online? Do you recall if you’ve gotten an order confirmation when you made a purchase? Do you remember the time it took from order to delivery?
