hey all im going to rebuild my carb (holley 1920) and i saw that there is a pin hole in the top of the fuel bowl. was wondering if this is supposed to be there as a breather or something or if i need to replace it. also if it is not supposed to be there will it cause big problems or would it be fine to leave it alone?
thanks

Definitely not supposed to be there. You need a replacement float bowl (at least). Carburetor operation and repair manuals and links to training movies and carb repair/modification threads are posted here for free download.

well im rebuilding the rest of the carb anyway. i know a junkyard where i can get the float bowl, ill make sure its good before i get it though. thanks dan.
