If anyone has set one of these up before(mines going on the slant 6 turbo), I can use all the help I can get. The MSD instructions are very short 'n' sweet in some areas. Such as: it says you must "lock out" the distributor but doesn't say how to do it at all. I've read some posts on other sites about guys doing this and I understand the basic concept, but still need it dumbed down to slant 6 level. Once its locked out, what will be the process of dropping the distributor in the motor and setting initial timing on the engine? Will it be the same as any other time I start it for the first time? This is gonna be this engine's first start since its rebuild, so I'd love to get it right the first time. Like I said, if anyone has set one up before I could use some guidance/reassurance.
