you know, this is only my second project car (the first is my 65 chevy van) and everyone said i was crazy but i gotta tell ya, its been a remarkably fun and not-too-difficult project. i have less than $5k in the whole project but still need to do rust repairs on the floor pans. is anyone making repro floors for early darts?
as it sits right now the original 7.25" rear is destroyed. i haven't opened it up yet as i found an affordable a-body 8.75 on ebay and i'm waiting for it to arrive.
this car is a daily driver/beater and its already seen a few passes at the track. its a 20-footer for sure but always seems to draw people in for a closer look. its loud and rude and rough and thats the way i love it.

Looks good. Make sure you get schock plates and U-bolts for the 8 3/4. The 7 1/4 ones will not fit. Mike

I really like the looks of your Dart. Like others said, I like the look of the old school slots. I have a set of those waiting for me, once I switch to LBP.
