My son and I started the second rebirth of his 80 RR Clone Boxing day. First we took the car apart except for the suspention. Then we decided to install frame conectors, we wanted to use car tool but they don't produce them for F bodies yet so we did the next best thing... we made our own, started by slitting the floor boards open between the sub frames. Then we took two four foot 3x1.5x1/8 tubing and simply dropped them in the slots and welded them up, took about 2 hours a side. Then my son started the dirty job of stripping the underside of the car which would have been alot easier on the rotiserie but my Dart is alreadt hanging on it so on his back for almost a week he was and he never complained once and did a prety dam good job. Next we removed the heater box and welded in a few holes in the fire wall to clean up under the hood. Our next step will be to paint under car with por 15.
