Well it all started when I lost one side of the wing it's been sitting on my shelf for bout a year. Then I had the ideal of making a new wing then the plan snow balled from there . I started by working on fender flairs this will be another long term project like the crew cab I'm building

No idea how they do it. I would have to wear a fishbowl on my head for enough magnification to see those itty bitty parts!
That is a lot of time and patience. You must have the same magnifiers as Pishta
thank you both . Well to tell the truth. Some things if you pay real close attention to my builds don't get done. Because my hands shake so things trend to go flying from time to time lol I can see just fine . It's the shaking that gets me lol

Is that Capt. Kirk in the background?
Lol yes I it's how I relax I watch old TV shows while I build. I'm on a startrek kick right now. But I'm kinda of a trekkie any way lol but tomorrow it could be I love lucy, knight rider, ect.

Here is the progress . I don't know bout the side scoop. I have the driver side in it's 1st coat of mud. I've got the drinkers sides 1st styrene laid down.

For aerodynamics the scoop needs to be facing the other direction. Maybe a NACA duct instead of a scoop.

I have that exact same Charger Daytona Model, Pro Modeler by Revell. I used to build models a lot when I was younger. The Daytona has quite a bit more little pieces than I remember, & I'm certainly no Pro Modeler. I still haven't finished it yet either.

Build it post it lol I'm not a pro either. That's why I'm trying all this on a kit I've lost alot of parts. In other words if I didn't throw my parts box at it . I would never build it . If I fail I'm just out my time and some styrene and the body. Failure is always an option . That's how a parts box is made lol

Second coat of mud I found some wheels. I'm not sure bout them . Just throwing things at it and seeing what sticks

Cool project. Don't put the rear brake scoops on - way bad aerodynamics. Also, no hood scoop at all is better if you can do without it. They really add a lot of drag. Rear tires should scale to about 29" tall, and fronts around 27. Good luck with the project.

I have a Daytona kit I'm building as a 500 (front bumper came in kit) so I'm not using the wing (or nose) if you want it.

I don't need the nose I will take you up on the wing tho if I don't use it on this build I have a daytona I built years ago that needs it .thank you
