Here's the pics from my first day of restoring my 66 barracuda. I have mainly just cleaned out mice nests and ripped out the interior this weekend. I scored this for $1200 and seems to be in pretty good condition. Interior and some wiring is ruined from mice but body seems solid minus front floor pans. Long term just wanting a rust free cruiser that can run low 12s or high 11s a few times a yr at the track. So, 273 and most of original drive train will probably have to go. Short term, just trying to get everything rust free and primed.

Couple kids under 3 y.o. at home. So, going to be a long term project but excited to learn along the way and seems like FABO is an awesome place to get educated.

Looks like a decent car for $1200. Hopefully you will have it done before your kids are old enough to drive! Have patience and enjoy!

Welcome to FABO!!!

You already started and that's a great thing!!!! Looking forward to watching your progress.

Thanks, guys. Excited to have something to work on been project less for about 10 yrs. Ditto the love the early cuda's Keith. Just remember thinking that big back window was ugly when I would see them as a kid. Over the years, they have grown on me and i've learned that camaro/mustangs are boring.
