So I installed a 360/727 combo in my car which was originally a 225/904

I just hooked up the column shifter and it is out of whack
I used all the stock car parts except for the bracket with the bushing that bolts to the transmission and holds part of the linkage and the arm that opts to the actual transmission

Now, the gear selector does not go further to the left then reverse
so, should I pull the arm off the tranny, shift it and the gear in reverse and hook it back up or is there a better way ?

Should I install the arm from the 904?

Thanks guys

I mistyped that, I meant should I shift both in park, and them bolt it on?

thanks Mderoy, I got it figured out
turns out I needed to adjust the rod between the arm and the link (great description, right?, it is the only thing adjustable on there without removing anything)

looks like she gets all the gears now, I wont know for sure until I fire her up though
soon I hope
