hey on my 68 dart there is a block on the frame, is that a residule (spell check please)valve? or something else,(distribution block) my dart had 10"drums on front, now it has disc/drums. I know this block on the dart needs changed, and was wondering if i have to remove the factory 68 dart block, and if i do can I use a Proportioning valve (metering block)from a 85 Diplomat?
or would it be better to leave the block and remove the rear line and use a adjustible P-valve, oh and I am using a disc MC..
any suggestions?

You can do it either way. Add an adjustable p-valve or get a valve from a 73 and later disc brake car. It has a valve installed where the rear line hooks up.

I run the adjustable valve plummed into the rear line behind the stock drum brake distribution block in my Duster. It works great. You should only have to adjust it a little bit.
