Does anyone know of a place to purchase a good brake proportioning valve for a '72 Demon, 318? Either oem or aftermarket?
Converted A body to B body: Disc front, drum back. Thanks.

Mopars are known to have overly sensitive rear brake lock-up issues in a panic or hard stop. Proportioning valves are a band-aid for poorly matched brake components.

In your case, seek the matching valve to your brake parts. It won't really help rear anti-lock, but at least you'll have matching parts.

When talking to Cass, ask him about converting to a matched rear disc set-up. His econo kits are a great value, and it won't require a proportioning valve. You may also want to inquire about changing the size of the rear wheel cylinders to increase or reduce rear brake clamping power.

The ram man also can hook you up with the proper prop valve... Call him and explain your set-up and he can get you the right part...
