your picture looks like the andonized aluminum rockers...
I have the stainless ones and the body of them (the body around the rocker shaft bores) clears the diameter of a set of 1110 hughes springs by about .040" or .050". I tried them on my J heads with the factory 340 valvesprings/dampners and they measure 1.500" and they won't clear
also with the heads with my hughes springs another problem area was the retainers - I had to use a ball endmill, set them up on a jig in the milling machine,and blend a bit where the arm blends into the body to give some clearance

Behive springs would give you a bunch of clearance but you would have to change the retainer.
