any tips on replacing the pressure hose on a 2004 Cruiser, backyard mechanic with no lift. remove passenger headlight or fan? remove air box and fuse box bracket? any chance unbolting the old one with a regular 18mm wrench? thanks

You are correct on all accounts. Remove parts you have listed and it's easier with a crows foot wrench/socket. I'm sure the expects will be along to tell you other ways but yea, not a fun job. Some years the pressure hose was under a recall for awhile. Call you closes dealer, might be covered under the recall.

Guessing it's not turbo. Alldata says remove RF tire and inner splash shield, then remove AC compressor (do NOT disconnect hoses/lines) to gain access to hose connection at P/S pump.

to get to the 18mm flare nut at the pump-removed right front splash shield and headlight and removed grill and upper radiator support and leaned the radiator and fan and ac condensor forward. at the rack 18mm nut, removed the airbox to throttle hose and used a crowfoot flare nut wrench. not a turbo, did not need to remove ac compressor or fan or radiator or condensor
