I've been running these tires for a couple of years, and now one of them has a puncture.

Brought it to the tire shop for repairs, but the tech guy said he can't repair it because it has a liner inside.

Now, when I called M/T to seek tech support for a recommended tube, they said they don't recommend that. This is kind of frustrating.

Anyone running tubes in these tires? and which tube are you running?

Thanks. For the link.

One thing still remains... what are your options whem running a flat on these tires then? Can't be fixed??

MT site clearly states no tubes in front runners.

I personally would buy new front runners, I wouldn’t take that chance going 130+ mph

This is the current plug placed on the punctured tire.

The idea was to place tubes to avoid potential leak do the plug going to leak on high speeds..

Your input is highly appreciated.

I can't even begin to imagine why you would want to run a ultra thin, drag race only, front tire with a plug or patch.

Those tires are made just like the light weight rims they are on. They are in no way designed to be patched and like others have said why would you at 130mph?

If you're not interested in your life maybe you should be concerned for your fellow racer that's worked decades for his car you could take out in a second, jury, or worse.

Buy a new set of tires and save everyone including the yourself the troubles that your flirting with over something that should be an non issue.
