Push rods

I don't know if this is the proper place to ask, but here goes. We have a stroked 440 with B1 heads, they have been cut at least once. The last time the were cut, there was .040 taken off. We now have a pushrod/ valve geometry/ lifter problem. We have ruined two sets of pushrods, just firing it up after initial adjustment I need to know how sells a pushrod tool to get the correct length on the push rods.

Hughes Engines got the adjustable length checking rods and they'll make ya up some new ones when you give them the number.

i know on the hemi's its very critical but not sure about RB's

you only want to threads showing under the rockers otherwise the ball and cup can get starved for oil by the spray missing it....
