I have a 318 I picked up (disassembled) and it didn't have push Rods but i have J heads I just picked up and the seller gave me these rods for nothing. I attached a picture of one of them. The length is correct. Would these work or are the ball end style more appropriate?

Thanks for the help :)

That's the stock pushrod...

The stock non-adjustable rocker arms used a ball and ball pushrod... (ball on each end...)

The adjustable rockers used a ball and cup pushrod...

looks stock but could be some white box high buck one, solid?
he's most likely going to need new pushrods anyway
always enjoy your posts and your build thread
thanks for all that

Ya they are solid. They were in a box of parts that came with the heads. Same type on both ends. Thanks for the info. I'll likely buy some ball and ball end ones for the non-adjustable rockers/ hydraulic lifters combo

stockish cam you can run the solids
aftermarket pushrods will be lighter but get them as strong as you can
oil trough through the pushrods is free and helps keep from pushing through the rocker

recommend new valvesprings single with dampner

That is the "ball end" style. Just the stock version.
