I have two sets of 7.5" pushrods for iron adjustables. When I built my 318 for my boat, it had a set of stock iron adjustables. It had 7.5 pushrods. They are about 3/16" too long, so, I stole the pushrods out of my 390. I called comp, told them whet I had, and they sent me a set of pushrods. Blindly I never asked them the length, but, know what? They are 7.5's.... They are too long for the 390.....

Never have I had pushrods not work, because I order them to length. So, here's my question. WHAT length pushrods are you guys running on your hyd lifter adjustable rocker engines? There has to be a reason I have two sets of 7.5's now, is this a standard?

I guess I need to order a set of 7.300's, but I would like to know what you guys are running.

I have an original set from a 273, they are 7.300 to the inside of the cup.

7.500 to the outside of the cup, those are solid lifter pushrods, like both sets I have. I guess someone got their wires crossed......

I should dump all this hyd crap and go to a ISKY E4 anyway....
