Lookin for a car build to mirror or add onto that would help me achieve my goals. Ive got a 1970 dart and i want to do a v8 swap. I want to get 12's or better in the quarter and also get 14-15 mpg or better. Also i want to be able to do this on pump gas and without nos. If it can be done without any forced induction thats a plus but not required.

Check out the racers forum...we got combos listed there in 12, 11, 10, and 9 second brackets

(Don't think you will find mpgs there though)

73 duster, 440 block (750dp, .484 cam, victor jr. intake) 727 RVB Trans. With 4.33 rears it runs 7.60's to 7.70's on the 1/8. Haven't ran the 1/4. Don't know what 7.7s translates to in the 1/4

Dont have a definite number. To drive to the track, make a few passes, and drive back (mostly interstate driving, about a 30 min drive going 60, which is where I like to keep it), it'll burn through a factory tank. Don't have a fuel gauge so I have to kind of play it by feel but if I fill it before I leave the house and take the previously stated trip it's damn near empty when I get back

73 scamp
69 340 block bored to 4.100, diamond forged pistons, stroker crank, edelbrock heads (Changed the stock springs) Hughes roller cam 3034, edelbrock air gap intake, quick fuel 780 cfm carb, dougs headers, summit 2.5" exhaust, 727. Had it on the dyno and it made 475hp and 505 ft. Lb. torque.
