It took about 10 hours total over a 3 day period but after investing some sweat equity; I'm pretty impressed with the results of polishing this front grill on project vert fish.
Using 0000 steel wool and some aluminum polishing compound I was able to remove the old argent silver paint and bring out a very nice shine.
Now the front of "Santa's" sleigh is much brighter.
Today, December 19th I cruised over 45 miles with the top down.
I'm sure it's snowing somewhere. But not here on the central California coast.
