May have been covered before, but couldn't find it. Just installed a set of QA1 upper arms purchased from a member on my 73 Sport. I really like them but have a question. Should I ever need to replace the ball joint, what tool do I use? I have the special socket that PST sells and I used it on my stock arms. That tool has sidewalls that are too thick to fit the QAI arm. Anyone have their method? Thanks.

Actually you don't replace them, you rebuild them. You'll need their spanner tool to disassemble them.

Mine doesn't have the fittings for that spanner. Looked up the part number and it's a standard screw in configuration with the top that takes the PST-type socket. I'll have to call the QA1 tech line.

When I stated "a press." before I actually meant to have a question mark after it. ?

No problem. The ball joint has a part number by Pro Torque, I think it is. Looked up the part number and it's definitely a screw in.
