QA1 control arms

I have a chance to buy QA1 control arms with the small upper ball joint- can they be removed and the large ball joint installed? Is the threaded part of the ball joint body the same on the two ball joint sizes?

The threaded part of the ball joint body is not the same size, you can’t install large ball joints into UCA’s that have the small ball joint.
