question about 360 heads on a 318???

A friend is putting a pair of 360 heads that were cut 60 thousands on a 318, can he still use the non-adjustables rockers,or does he need to go with adjustables...

At this point your getting very close to bottoming out the lifters, so I would use adjustable setup and feel safe about it.

or .060" shorter pushrods or shim the rockers. You really need to measure lifter preload to see what needs to be done.

Done this about 30 years ago. Used a set of racer brown adjustable push rods with standard rockers. later used a set of 273 adjustable rockers but had to get differant push rods
